This page explains what information we collect when you visit freshmen2u.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Analytics data, collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site: which pages and produce categories you view, how long you stay, the site or search term that referred you, your approximate location (derived from your IP address, which Google does not retain in identifiable form), and your device or browser type. This runs through cookies — mainly _ga and _ga_742JKLE29K — that recognize repeat visits and measure site usage.
Information you give us directly. If you message us on WhatsApp or email, or submit the vendor onboarding form, we collect what you choose to share — typically your name, company name, phone number, email address, and order or account details — so we can respond to your enquiry or set up your account.

Who we share data with

- WhatsApp (Meta) — if you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also subject to WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
We don't otherwise sell or rent your information to third parties.
How long we keep it
Analytics data is retained in Google Analytics for up to 14 months. Enquiry and account information is kept for as long as needed to service your account, or as required by Malaysian law for accounting and tax record-keeping.
Your rights
Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you can ask us to access the personal data we hold about you, correct inaccurate data, or withdraw consent to further contact — email [email protected] and we'll respond within a reasonable time. Children's privacy
Freshmen is a business-to-business site for foodservice buyers. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
